PSC Inspectors Amazement about SCM Vessel's Low Risk Status

In the course of more detailed PSC inspection at Saint Petersburg, the Russian Federation under Paris MoU on board of m/v ALMERIA, the attending inspectors were very surprised when they found out that the subject vessel was assigned as the Low Risk Ship claiming that as per their experience all bulk carriers were treated as High Risk Ships by default.

As the result on 20 November 2018 the vessel passed a more detailed inspection including a CIC on MARPOL Annex VI without deficiencies.
